FLAVOUR:
In specality coffee circles, I think Papua New Guinea is the most unsung and strangely undercelebrated origin. Country wide these past three harvests have been incredible but Kabiufa shines particularly bright due to its absolutely unique profile. They always seem to pair stunningly clear and fruity acidity with seriously deep caramel notes. This lot floats delicious black cherry and green grape flavours above the more tangy zip of rhubarb. From this opening acidity, the cup goes full on bakery by adding toffee and jam notes to the cup before a delightful sugary and molasses heavy finish.
